John Young (1909-97) immigrated to Hawaii from China as a young man and embraced more than eight decades as an acclaimed artist, Asian art collector, philanthropist, and bon vivant. This commissioned 10 minute video tribute visually traces major themes in his painting while showing the artist at work.
